Influence of operating conditions on solar energy utilization efficiency of flat plate solar collector

Abstract For the last 20 years, solar collectors have been developing rapidly in use of energy buildings. Under experimental conditions, utilization efficiency (SEUE) flat plate (FPSC) can reach more than 80%, but engineering application SEUE is low, and even collector heating cannot meet design requirements. In this paper, based on existing thermal performance FPSC, influence ambient meteorological parameters hot water system operation studied using tests analytical calculations. The results reflected that connected to auxiliary heaters will affect SEUE, with series-connected systems having greater parallel-connected systems. When radiation intensity was likely be negative. calculated when inlet temperature 20, 30, 40, 50 °C, 0%, corresponding 113, 184, 225, 328 W/m 2 , respectively. Reducing average reduce heat loss conversion process between air increase SEUE. 500 decreases from °C 30 increased 20.9% 38.5%. research provide a parameter basis for FPSC system, especially connection mode device, temperature.
